Avalable boats and sailboats

Let us know in advance what kind of boat you are interested in. A smaller boat, a medium sized yacht, a large yacht, a sailboat or a catamaran sailboat. Activities available might also changer slightly depending on the boat, although most include snorkeling gear, and many also include kayaks and paddle boards for extra enjoyment when visiting remote beaches or make a stop at a rocky islet for snorkeling. Fishing rods can also be included if requested in advance. In case you are interested ina fishing trip, we have a fleet for boats and fishing yachts available for coastal half day an full day fishing as well as off shore or deep sea fishing.

Playa Tamarindo is undoubtedly one of the best known beach sites in Guanacaste. It was originally a small fishing village, however, it was discovered by tourism in the 80's and today, it has an extensive infrastructure of hotels, resorts, and also tours and activities. Undoubtedly, one of the most popular activities is precisely the private tours in sailing catamaran, classic sailboat or motorboat tour. Due to the occasional swell in Tamarindo, it is not always possible to pick up directly on the beach, although most of the time it is possible. In case of heavy surf, a land transfer of about 20 minutes is provided to the Flamingo Marina, from where you can set sail without a problem and where there is parking for any car.

Snorkeling Tour in Tamarindo

Pick up by our van and guide and transfer to the docks in Flamingo. This is an approximately 25 minute drive to the marina, where you will hop on our boat. Once onboard, you will receive an introduction and briefing of where we will be taking you, some precautions and some of the highlights you might encounter on the way and on site. After a 15 minute to 30 minute boat ride, you will measure fins, masks and snorkel and after that, it is time to explore. Some common sites we visit include Isla Playa, Playa Amor or other local snorkel sites. The tour also includes stand up paddling and fishing ( optional ). Fresh fruit, water, snacks are also included. Optional time to stay in the water and swim. ( Fishing and SUP boards included in the trip but IMPORTANT: REQUEST FIRST ).
